Plate compactor or jumping jack?
Plates for open areas. Paving prep, driveways, pads. Jumping jacks (rammers) for trenches, post holes and anywhere too narrow for a plate.
Will a plate compactor fit in a ute or trailer?
The small and mid-size plates fit in a ute tray or box trailer with a ramp. The big reversible plates are heavy. Use our compactor trailer ($55/day) or have us deliver.
What do I need for compacting sand in Perth?
Perth sand compacts well with water and a mid-size plate. For clay or crushed rock base, step up to a reversible plate or a jumping jack for trenches.
